To bathe in paint, is a form of artistic baptism, an initiation. This bodily immersion in paint can also be seen as a tribute to action painting. Tipping my hat to Alan Kaprow, I become the missing link, the bridge between abstract expressionism and performance art.

White washing a woman, constructing the mental Madonna, virginal, empty vessel, untouched by man - purification speaks to the readiness of unrealized potential.
